So you want to make games for a living?

The Australian Computing Society wants to help you out.

The ACS is running a meetup this November 30 in Sydney called 'So you want to make games for a living?', featuring Australian indie developer David Kidd from Screwfly Studios, which has sold over a hundred thousand copies of its games through Steam. Hear from David about his experiences, what works and what doesn't, and the straight dope on what it takes to make it in the competitive game development industry -- or, in his own words:

"Everyone has advice for indies, but for us, it was mostly irrelevant, trivial or flat-out wrong. After 6 years, here's the advice we wanted to hear."

Admission is free, and food and drinks are provided. You can sign up to attend here.
