Lian Li reveals new Alpha range PC cases

More tempered glass than you can throw a brick through!

Lian Li's latest two cases join the tempered glass revolution, with the pleasantly reserved and boxy Alpha 300 and Alpha 550 chassis. But we're not talking about just one glass panel - these cases feature up to four!

Both cases offer serious cable management options, from a built-in PSU shroud to an array of blind cable runs. Drives mount to the rear, with room in the front of the case for dedicated liquid cooling reservoirs, and GPUs can be mounted vertically using a separately available riser cable.

The 330 features glass panels on the front and sides, while the 550 boasts tempered glass all over, except for the back panel.

Here are the specs:

  • Vertical GPU enabled
  • 4 mm thick tempered glass panels
  • Completely tool-less design
  • Streamlined, easy cable management
  • Easy fan and radiator mounting racks:

Alpha 330: 420 mm radiator + 280 mm radiator
Alpha 550: 420 mm radiator + 360 mm radiator

  • Dust Protection:

Alpha 330: slide out bottom filter, front mesh, top magnetic mesh
Alpha 550: slide out bottom filter, front mesh and gril, top mesh and gril

  • Alpha 550 RGB includes three Bora 120 RGB fans, controller, remote, and LED Strip

The cases will be available here in Australia in early 2018. The Alpha 330 will retail for $149, the Alpha 550 for $219.
