Kogan announces "insane" TV offer - we're not arguing

We imagine there will be a few choice swear words in the halls of Harvey Norman today with Kogan's latest offer - a 32in LED TV with Blu-ray for $749.

Who do you trust when it comes to buying home cinema equipment? It's a question online retailer Kogan posed themselves last year, and is still relevant today as companies like Kogan launch TV offers at prices often unheard of in high street appliance stores.

Today's launch sets the bar lower still, with a 32in full HD LED TV with built-in Blu-Ray and PVR, priced at $749.

Though unbranded, the Blu-Ray player is region free. The TV also has a USB input, handy for sneakering downloaded video and photos to play on the big screen.

Other items likely to make Harvey Norman shoppers do a double take:

- a 100Hz LED TV with PVR and SRS speakers for $749
- a 100Hz "Samsung panel" 40in Full HD LED TV with PVR and SRS speakers for $1049.
- A 32in Full HD LED TV with PVR but without SRS speakers for $549

It's not the same feature spec we saw from brands like Samsung and LG at CES, where we saw many TVs with built in networking, menus for accessing sites like YouTube, and giant 75in 3D LED panels. But that's not where Kogan has made its name.

Kogan says there are now 150,000 Kogan products in Australian homes.
