Intel's new 750GB Optane SSD DC P4800X SSD appears in the wild

And oh boy, is it expensive!

Intel's cache SSD Optane memory solution has only been available in 350GB models, but a new 750GB Optane SSD DC P4800X has become available, ahead of a likely 1.5TB model at some stage.

And it costs... well, a lot. We only have European pricing, but it's a staggering 3000 Euro. A straight currency conversion places that at about $4500, but given the current 375GB card available here retails for about $2750, the added Australia Tax will see this new hardware cost well above $5000.

Intel's Optane tech is aimed at big workstation grade workflows, and high-performance computing. It won't really help you load PUBG faster.
