How to: Remove Netflix recently watched shows so no one ever knows your love of Shadowhunters

Hide your Netflix shame by deleting 'Recently Watched' titles from your library.

Thankfully, there's a really simple way to remove titles from your Netflix library, leaving your guilty pleasures between just Netflix's servers and you.

How to remove recently watched shows from Netflix on PC and Mac:

  1. Log into your Netflix account and hover over your profile icon and click “Your Account”.
  2. Underneath the “My Profile” section, click on “Viewing activity”.
  3. Here you can remove any show you've ever watched and, if you like, delete an entire series from your history at once.
  4. That's it, you're done! You've removed all that questionable content from your Netflix and can watch your shows in the comfort of knowing you can remove them again with ease.

How to remove recently watched shows from Netflix on iPad and iPhone:

  1. Open the Netflix app, click the menu icon in the top left and scroll to “Account”. Tap it.
  2. Scroll until you reach the “My Profile” section and then click on “Viewing activity”.
  3. Here you can remove any show you've ever watched by tapping the “X” next to a show's name. You can also delete an entire series from your history at once.
  4. That's it, you're done. In just 24 hours all trace of you watching said shows will disappear from your Netflix account on any device you've logged into.

How to remove recently watched shows from Netflix on Android:

  1. Open the Netflix app, swipe in from the left to open the menu and scroll to “Account”. Tap it
  2. Scroll until you reach the “My Profile” section and then click on “Viewing activity”
  3. Here you can remove any show you've ever watched by tapping the “X” next to a show's name. You can also delete an entire series from your history at once.
  4. That's it, you're done. In just 24 hours all trace of you watching said shows will disappear from your Netflix account on any device you've logged into.
