Packed with SLI power and an impressive mechanical keyboard. Also, RGBs.
Gigabyte's Aorus gaming range is getting a significant upgrade this week, with two new products, and a pretty hefty boost to a third.
The new X9 gaming laptop features a 17.3in UHD display, two GTX 1070 GPUs in SLI, 32GB of RAM, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, two 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, and an RGB-lit mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches. Yikes!
The second model swaps out one of the SSDs for a 1TB HDD, for those particularly massive Steam collections. Both also feature a Core i7 7820HK CPU, and both RAM and storage can be upgraded. Cooling for this rather extreme laptop comes from four large fans and an impressive eight heat-pipes.
Both versions will be available at the end of this month, and retail for $5399 and $5099 respectively.
Gigabyte's not letting it's older models stay in the shadows, either, and has upgraded to the Aero15 to the Aero15X, which nows gets a very impressive GTX 1070 GPU. It too will be available this month.
