Would this make me get a Kinect? No, but even I can see that this is a pretty awesome use for voice control in gaming.
I'm pretty vehemently against all forms of motion and/or sound controlled gaming. I like my dialogue to be radial, and my action mouse-driven, thank you very much. But even I, President of the Anit-motion Gaming League for Life, think SkyrimKinect is pretty damn cool.
Bethesda's just announced the free add-on for The Elder Scrolls V, and it's got a full suite of voice-controlled fun. Of course, the top of the list has to be full control of the game's Dragon Shouts, letting players Fus Ro Dah at the top of their lungs until the cows come home (at which point, they too will be Fus Ro Dah-ed).
The feature has over 200 voice commands in total, including equip commands, menu control, save game functions, and inventory controls. You can even boss your companions around!
