Exclusive and limited prints of art from the hit PS3 game, Killzone, are available now - but you better hurry!
I keep getting the idea that I really should give Killzone a chance.
I know, however, that if I did I'd just ending up doing what I usually do whenever I play any game on the PS3 that isn't Wipeout - get very angry at the controller, the game, the cat, and then anything else close by. For some unknown reason, that's my PS3 experience in a nutshell right there.
(and yes, I can't wait for your angry comments)
So, Killzone. Every time I see a trailer, I think "Man, that's pretty awesome." On some of the Warhammer 40K modelling forums I hang out on, there's always one or two folks looking for ways to model Killzone-type costume design on 40k models - and they always look great!
The latest thing to make me think I should really give it a go (but let's be honest - it's way down my prevarication list) is the new selection of limited, museum-grade art Giclees available showing off a lot of Killzone artwork from award winning designers.
The prints are available online from Cook & Becker (very easy to badly mis-type, by the way), and are in strictly controlled limited editions. And Killzone's just the start. “We want to showcase the outstanding visual art and talent in the games & entertainment industry and make these works of art available for contemporary art collectors and enthusiasts.” said Maarten Brands, art dealer at Cook & Becker, in a release. “Guerrilla Games is known to deliver ground-breaking and visually spectacular entertainment and has one of the best art teams in the business. So we’re very happy that we’ve been able to partner up and bring this collection to market.”
If some Halo art pops up there, woe to my bank account.
