Aimed at business, consumers, and PC enthusiasts.
Asus has just added three new X299 motherboards to its workstation hardware lineup, though it has not yet released any details on pricing or availability. But when the new boards do appear, they'll be aimed not at gamers, but a range of workloads.
The WS X299 Sage delivers massive GPU density, with seven expansion slots with room for four dual-slot GPUs. The board is aimed at building neural networks and for heavy GPU-based compute loads.
The WS X299 Pro, on the other hand, is an ATX form factor workstation board aimed at content creators and prosumers, but can also manage gaming if you want a board that can do a bit of everything.
Finally, the WS X299 PRO/SE is much like the Pro, but has the Asus Control Center built in for added remote access capabilities.
Here's the full specs, and you can learn more about the boards here.
