it wont update keeps sayin a .bin file is missing....

Ok, here's what you do...
1. Uninstall it. 2. Go to the store, part with some cash for a copy of any AV suite that isn't full of half-baked coding. 3. Install it. 4. Enjoy.
...free stuff never works real well. Try an uninstall, registry clean and a fresh install/update.
Despite the spiraling cost of living, it remains a popular activity.

uninstall it, reboot and reinstall it nat See how it goes. It might not be a bad idea to run scandisk as well.

Nothing wrong with FREE software, especially AVG which out ranks almost all paid AV Suites. why pay $100 per yr if AVG is better. I have been using AVG for years, I also use a paid AV but AVG is super dooper, why down software that is so highly ranked, just cos' it's FREE? Don't use Linux it's free??? mmmmm. Must be bad code lol.
