Was it the free copy?

Despite the spiraling cost of living, it remains a popular activity.

Ok, here's what you do...

1. Uninstall it.
2. Go to the store, part with some cash for a copy of any AV suite that isn't full of half-baked coding.
3. Install it.
4. Enjoy.

...free stuff never works real well. Try an uninstall, registry clean and a fresh install/update.

It might not be a bad idea to run scandisk as well.

Rum, honey and lemon juice. mix to taste. might not fix your sinus infection but in quantities it'll dull the pain.Big Smile!

You do realise that AVG and Avast are free home-user versions of business software.

Nothing wrong with FREE software, especially AVG which out ranks almost all paid AV Suites. why pay $100 per yr if AVG is better. I have been using AVG for years, I also use a paid AV but AVG is super dooper, why down software that is so highly ranked, just cos' it's FREE?
Don't use Linux it's free??? mmmmm. Must be bad code lol.

Anyhow, Nat if you are gonna spring for an AV, don't bother driving around wasting fuellooking for what you need... thats what online stores are for, and you'll save $$$$ Wink
