Hello there,
I have two questions, i tried to google them i only got the answer for one
first, on how many machines can i install my copy of Windows 7 Professional?
almost all said that you have 1 license for 1 machine? what is your say in this
and the second and most important
it i can only install it on one machine
how can i un-install it from one and install it on another
do i have to do something?
or just install it on the new machine and un-install from the other one?

1st answer, 1 licence = 1 machine.
2nd answer, if you install on a second machine, when you try to activate it online it'll tell you something along the line of no bugger off. It'll also give you a phone number for Microsoft. You can ring that number and plead your case for moving to another machine. If you're very convincing they'll give you another key for the new install.
3rd answer, (asked elsewhere) if you post in the wrong forum, put a note in your post and one of our friendly moderators will move it for you when they find it. I've tidied up your other post.

Slatts, Thanks a lot for the answers
i think MS should make their copies of Windows have license for more than one machine, at least for two if you have a laptop and a desktop!
i mean they are already over priced "especially here in australia"

lol, am sure they do disagree with me  but MS should workout some type of iTunes-like authorization system i mean you have like "store -> authorize this computer" and then deauthorize if you wanted to move the os to another machine

Yeh, that'd be nice, but an OS is a bit of a different critter to a music collection.
I've had issues in the past with reinstalling XP pro on this machine after major surgery (to it, not me...) with the online activation failing.
I rang the supplied number and after a short explanation and supplying the serial number off the installation disk, MS supplied me with a new key.
So there is a way around it.
