Hello,I have recently purshased a pioneer bluray drive to play bluray movies on my computer that runs windows xp.The drive came packaged with cyberlink power dvd software.THe software will not still allow me to play bluray movies, but will play normal dvds.I have taken my computer to two reputable computer shops and both cannot fix my problem.Do i need to run different software?or has anyone experienced and overcome this problem. Thanks in advance

You should be able to play bluray disks that you have created yourself. To play bluray commercial disks - you will need a hdcp compliant graphics card with dvi or hdmi connections. then the monitor must be hdcp compliant. Otherwise, the pc will not be able to decrypt the commercial bluray disk.
Thsi has been a problem since the release of the first bluray players for computers.

try this google pagesquirrel.
I haven't tried any of the stuff on it so can't comment on weather any of it is safe or helpful or for that matter, legal.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid one, just stupid answers. (mostly)
