Why don’t you go for online backup solutions? There are many online backup solutions available on net. With online backup solutions your data is backed up automatically as per your predecided schedule. Thus it saves you from the tedious manual backup procedure. And also, with online backup your data is accessible from anywhere, anytime. No fear of loosing your data.

For online backup I would recommend backupandshare.com to all home users, it is the easiest I have seen so far but with almost everything you need as an online backup application. They are also providing Windows mobile backup solution free for their users. So far very good experience, no wonder they are the current topper in http://top10onlinebackup.com

Few days ago i was also backing up all of my data to my external hard drive at the end of every day,so I started using the Acronis True Image Home software to do so. I made the first backup yesterday, which understandably took a long time. But now I'm running the first daily backup, as a test, and it says it'll take 4 hours to finish!.So due to all these difficulties i quit Acronis & now i am using Magic Backup online service & really it's great .Magic Backup is so easy to use, and so reliable. Unlike other backup products that perform "scheduled" backups during the middle of the night, Magic Backup is always on the lookout for new or changed files that need to be backed up.So Just forget all the software and try Magic Backup.
