Hi everyone. First off, I am very much looking forward to the release of Windows 7 onto the market, after having tried and tested both the Beta and the RC versions.
I do have one query (or should that be gripe?). As with previous versions of windows, there still seems to be a big problem concerning the file wmpnetwrk.exe.
I had setup Windows 7 to network with my XBox360, only to find that my CPU kept maxing out and basically slowing Win7 to almost a halt.
I have searched through Google AND Bing only to find that the problem comes down to a faulty/corrupt video file. So I spent many hours hunting down the culprits and moving them off my PC. Hmmm, the problem still exists.
If this has been an ongoing problem with previous versions of Windows, then the almighty M$ would have surely done something to alleviate the problem (or you would think so).
After all, isn't that why MS pre released the RC version for final testing?
Is this problem with this particular file going to be fixed for the final RTM of Win7?
