In the Box:
Phone, Manual, CD with Nokia PC Suite, Charger, USB cable, Handsfree,2GB Micro SD
Performance:
I bought this phone after reading many positive reviews about it. I also got a good deal at Dick Smith ,$580 outright. I was quite surprised by the speediness of this phone. It turns on quite quickly ,much quicker than my old Nokia, and going through the menu's is very zippy. The phone is also packed with features. It has Quickoffice ,the editable version which is normally $50, and it also includes in built GPS and Wi-Fi. The camera is alright at 3.2 mega pixels but overall it is below average. Still, it will do for some quick shots. One really cool and pointless thing ,so far anyway, is the barcode reader which can read 2D barcodes to get URLs and Phone Numbers. Another cool feature of the camera is a scanner. You can take a picture of a business card and it will put all the information into your contacts putting the phone numbers, names and email addresses into the correct slots. This feature wasn't useful for me but I am sure others will like it.
Another aspect of the phone which I like is the charger. It is really fast and tiny. The charger is the size of a normal plug. so it will fit into any space. The phone also includes a leather case which is good for protecting its fingerprint prone body.
Another notable feature of the phone is its battery life in comparison with its size. The phone is tiny ,for a smart phone anyway, and it has a massive 1500MaH battery which gives you 20 days of standby time.
Conclusion:
Overall this phone is an excellent business phone. It has all the features a business person needs plus added bonuses such as free games and a $20 music voucher for nokia's music store. I would recommend this phone to anyone. It actually feels much better in the hand than the N95 and if you're willing to sacrifice a few features, this is the phone for you.
Pros:
Great Build Quality, Great Battery Life, Heaps of Features, Free music, Wi-Fi, GPS, Full version of Open Office, 2GB Micro SD card, Full Keyboard
Cons:
Below par camera, GPS can take a while to locate satellites, Prone to Fingerprints
BTW: I tried to post this review under the actual Nokia E71 review but the submit button wasn't working.
