Ok so this is the first time i've ever built my own PC normally buy a ready built one because i thought it was hard to build a comp but long story short my eyes have been opened. OK so my budget is $2000 prolly like few 100 more if needed but preferably $2000 or under i have a general idea of things i need but not like models and brands other than nvidia in vid cards so if anyone is bored or just wants to help me, give me some info i'll need to know or tell me the best things to get would be greatly appreciated

Want to use it for gaming and home entertainment uses primarily

Wanna overclock also if that changes any parts i'll need

Also anyone have any links on putting together a PC i have a friend but would rather learn myself

Do you need monitor, OS, keyboard and mouse? Or just the tower?

MSY is good too, but they're always busy, and it's hard to tell if they have stock.

If you want to watch TV, you'll need a TV Tuner. Also, keep in mind that that case is quite large.

I don't care how big it is really and how much are tv tuners and are they easy to install?

They're just a PCI card which you insert into the motherboard. MSY sell them, just choose one that plays HD digital. I'm not too sure which models are good.

Well, you don't really need one. Usually the motherboard manual tells you. It's basically plugging things in.

My builds is pretty solid and may suit your needs.
Just add a TV tuner card, and possibly peripherals.

Sound cards are pointless unless you have a decent set of speakers. Motherboards have audio chipsets inbuilt.
