I like the clean, crisp interface. I haven't found any really glaring bugs in it so far.

EDIT: Posting from Chrome, it likes the PC Authority website Tongue

The booksmarks thing is liveable its not like the privacy mode in Firefox which can ask you everytime. I'm sure however it'll be in the final version since even IE has it.

I would buy Google if it wasn't such money whoring venture. Its sponsoring a Open source project but it would never have done it if there wasn't something in it for them. Its a company first and foremost. This reeks of crap if you ask me

That's an interesting sentiment bb. Are you saying that because google makes buckets of money it's bad?
I think you'll find that nobody does anything unless it's in their self interest.
That may be monetary, religious, emotional, biological, social...

Google supply a very useful service. It costs us nothing to use it. It cost a lot of money to set up and run. Would you throw your money into a business if it wasn't going to turn a profit?

Quite Simply I just don't like it that their marketing sham says that they are in it for nothing. Its simply not true. They are in it for something and its definetly money. Look at how Google started out, now Google Ads and soon Google search could be anything but a money making venture. What happened to good old fashion plain search?

Anyone else having problems with it connecting to the pc authority website. I get this dialogue box come asking me whether I want to wait for the website or kill it! If I click wait it waits another 10-15 secs and then the site comes up!

So...

Can I take it that there's either no way to dump cookies and other temp files automatically when you close it?

Or at least, that no one knows of a way?

Despite the spiraling cost of living, it remains a popular activity.

Man that's insane! At least they "fixed" it Tongue
But this part here is still a massive oversight:

"US-Cert noted that the browser is initially set to accept all downloads without user notification. "

Honestly... that's a HUGE blunder!!

that's the carpet bombing that was mentioned in the previous link. It inherited it from Safari, which has since been patched.

I installed this browser a couple of weeks ago, and I did'nt really like the feel of it, it seems kinda plastic if that makes any sense lol Smile. It seems like a lite browser though, which is a plus for netbooks and such, but I will not be using chrome as my default browser anytime soon. I will stick with FF3.
