Hello folks! Smile Soon I installed Windows 7 RC. Now I'm installing lots of software...

Some like Mil Shield, Firefox, 7Zip, Everest is compatible with both Windows 7.

But most of software is not compatible with Windows 7.

Please tell me, how manage with this compatible problem?

Hi zetB. As I understand it if your software is compatible with Vista, it'll run happily on win7.
If you have a problem, perhaps you might try running it in compatibility mode.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid one, just stupid answers. (mostly)

Just wait. Probably the developers will test their apps on Windows 7 and do needed changes

Hi, I have no problems with Windows 7 compatibility. Try its compatibility mode to run more software.

btw, Lavalys Everest and Mil Shield really work well on this system.

-- Half-Life 2
-- Heroes 3

Add:

--Battlefield 2142
--Battlefield 1942
--Halo
--GTA VC
--Songbird
--Adobe cs3
--Cyberlink powerdvd
--Symantec AV
--AVG free
--Etc etc...

the only software i have ever had trouble with in 7 32 or 64 is a beta stage compression tool, (which worked in XP mode) and when you restore a ghost image with norton 10 or 9 you have to use the install disk to do fixboot & fixmbr...

If it can't be fixed with old fencing wire, buy some new fencing wire...

G'Day ZetB just click on my post "official windows seven compatibility links"
if you want to access the compatibility mode just click on the windows symbol key on your keyboard.
type in the search field "compatibility" the result will be shown then just follow the prompts
remeber?!
