Far Cry 2



What can I say? You have molotovs and you have grass. Far Cry 2 is the perfect game for the pyromaniac in all of us. The storyline throws you a twist right at the front, you're cruising along in your car, and you get bitten by a mosquito carry malaria. You will die without medicine...and people have the medicine, but in Africa, nothing is free. You're thrown into a "you must survive" state of mind, and then given freedom. The Dunia engine renders a beautiful African savanna, with splashes of jungle and canyons throughout. Loading screens are near to non-existant, with the only ones popping up when you load your savegame or travel by bus.

I recommend this game, I loved it.

Pros

* 50 square kilometres of Africa to explore
* Excellent pyrotechics
* Character animations that add to the immersion


Cons

* Car tyres are invincible
* The cars are nearly indestructible, except for when you're driving.
* Driving everywhere gets tedious(Although there is the alternative to take a bus, shortening the trip)
