I have encountered for the second night in arow around the same time a message that says someone else has the same IP as me. I'm on a Next G USB, and am not likely to want to reveal much more, seeing as the second time I got keyed into, the screen text became smaller.
The net provider weren't much help except to reset something. What else can be done for security, as this isn't a net cafe situation I am in here.

you don't happen to have wireless enabled on your machine twopaw? Could someone be logging into your machine using 802.11 something?
If you're not using it, try disabling it.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid one, just stupid answers. (mostly)

no worries, hope it sorts it for you. You may also want to turn off Bluetooth if you're not using it as I seem to recall hearing it can be a security issue as well.
