I was up till 2:30 this morning trying to recover a pair a RAID-1 drives that both decided to go offline taking everything with them (60+GB of images, email, music and documents) thanks to f#$%en windows updates that are playing cheeky now and turn shit on that was previously killed off for good reason. Windows Defender for one, which plays havock with my RAID sets and eveything else.
Will sleep soon, no chocolate till after sleepy poo's.

Hey, happy Easter everyone! It's gone 7PM. The offerings of the monotreme rabbit have been eaten and all is well. I was up till 2:30 to Benji. I was studying the computer interface of the future. (er.. watching "The Minority Report" on telly) Between call outs (6 so far since Friday morning) I defragged all the partions on my main system using a Paragon partition manager 8.5 bootable CD. The partition the boys keep their games on took over 3 hours to defrag They tell me their games run better than they've run in months Good luck with your raid Benji.
Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from. Ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid one, just stupid answers. (mostly)

Cool Bananas, ditched Vista and went Win 7 and RAID data was recovered after all that. Just need to sort out the issues of this site and IE8.
Happy Easter too all.

Recovered all lost files and backed up to a new array.
