Logitech has taken the concept of a gamer's keyboard and pushed it much further than just fanciful backlighting. The G15's programmable macros with profiles, USB hub, lack of timebomb enhanced keys and the ability to disable the Windows key without prying it off is a godsend, and the LCD that's a platform of its own is quite impressive. Above all, it's durable and feels good. There were a few squabbles I have with things like the wrist rest and cable management, but these are all minor. The G15 is nothing short of awsome

Yes As I've Mentioned in another thread I love the G15 keyboard Smile ... I have the first version of the keyboard with the flip up LCD which can have a modified display like the awesome Sir Real one that I use that shows date, time, email count if any, net speed and a graphic of the CPU usage (it supports Core2Duo with sperate graphics for each core!).. Other features are the backlight keys which can be turn off at whim and cool gaming switch which will diable the windows keys for gaming Smile... The 18G keys that can be programed with macros or even setup to spwan a website at will and the gaming profiles ... Alot of new games support the LCD fuction of the keyboard with in game info poping up on the LCD screen and some games go as far as have default profiles setup to run ...I'm running the lastest software for the keyboard which includes an SDK kit for the LCD scrren so it's pssible to tweakui or create your oen LCD profile screens Smile

one draw back on the orginal designed is that the two inbuilt USB ports are onle usb 1 others this is the bomb of current keyboards... It's so popluar in the LAN group I attend we all have them!

you can disable the windows key easily without having to get a logitech keyboard.

Use those.

I have a second screen. i don't need a tiny LCD screen on my keyboard ^_^

However, I find teh G15 somewhat undesireable to type on. Not very ergonomic at all. And it's huge.

Everyone has different things they like in a keyboard though. I don't like them.

I have a G11 keyboard and I love it! I personally prefer the older G series keyboard because it has more programmable keys even though the new G15 does look a lot better.

Have a look at my website on how to build a computer
