76 companies were A-listed this year, either as our best-of-breed or as an alternative selection. Some the were iconic, and remained on top of the pack for months on end – seven products held A-list spots for the whole of the last 12 months. In other cases, companies produce winner after winner that succeed each other within a category.
Adobe products made the list 36 times, making it the most successful software company. HP/Compaq rated 49 A-list entries, making it the second most successful company, but last year’s winner Dell stormed ahead with 57 A-list entries across a range of categories to secure top spot two years running.
