Love it or hate it, there is no denying that World of Warcraft is one of the most important games to be released in the industry’s short history. Even after a year of declines in subscriber numbers it has an audience that is orders of magnitude larger than the competition, and the launch of the new Mists of Pandaria expansion on September 25th is set to be one of the biggest this year.
In preparation for that launch Blizzard has unveiled the opening cinematic for the game, which gives an introduction to the new Pandaren race, and the island of Pandaria. It is worth a watch, if only to admire the gorgeous animation work done by Blizzard’s CGI artists.
