Sharp's Feel UX Android skin takes on HTC Sense

Sharp's been showing off the new Feel UX skin for its Android Aquos phones - and its worth a look if your stock Android or iOS homescreen is starting to look a little tired.

The Feel UX lock screen is notable - with big photos, weather animations and a music player all accessible from the lock screen it's one of the prettiest we've seen. You can still stick your apps into folders, home and back buttons disappear on the homescreen and notifications look handy.

The whole skinned OS has more than a little Windows Phone Metro influence.

One downside is Android skins can end up slowing down the device. The skin is currently only destined for Japan.
