Huawei Ascend G300: the best budget smartphone on the block?

Until very recently, if you wanted a decent smartphone you had to cough up a few hundred quid and potentially risk eating Super Noodles for the month just to cover the cost.

But Huawei has broken the mould with its budget-level Android-flavoured slab and new kid on the bargain block.
