I recently downloaded this new internet security suite from Kaspersky as a free upgrade from my previous version (7). I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for about two and a half years. i switched from Norton because it was basically a resource hog. One reason why I switched to KIS was its speed and this version is no different. It is fast and easy to use. The program as a short learning curve and I found all the menus very easy to access. Settings for any of the programs features is easy to access and most importantly, the program is highly flexible.
One thing which I would like to see included with KIS is an ad blocker, although it comes with a banner ad blocker, it is still not enough. The scans can sometimes take a while but you can easily customise it to scan only certain files (e.g. new or changed files) and you can also easily change how thoroughly the files are scanned. This helps to speed up the process. Besides these little quirks, this program is excellent.
