Rumour – Rocksteady’s next Batman game a “highly stylised” prequel
The follow-up to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City looks set to be a retro-flavoured affair harking back to the 1950s

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City may have been grittier than a half-paved road, but Rocksteady Studios’ next title to feature the Caped Crusader looks set to be a wholly different affair.

According to Hollywood bible Variety, the as-yet-unnamed title will be a “highly stylised” prequel revolving around Batman’s first meeting with the Joker, and will be based on the 1950s-era “Silver Age” of DC’s comic. It may also feature the Justice League of America, the superhero team formed when Bats allied himself with Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash.
