Last month, we reported on Google's camera-toting, HUD Glasses project; a pair of glasses that totally immerses the user into an augmented reality world. Now, the first official video footage of Project Glass has been released online.
As you can see from the concept footage above, Project Glass are essentially a pair of spectacles that provide an AR overlay controlled by small head movements. If the clip is to be believed, the specs will be able to do everything from take covert photos to teaching you to play the ukulele.
"We believe technology should work for you — to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don't," explained Google in a statement. "A team within our Google[x] group started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment."
