In the humble opinion of this writer, LogMeIn Ignition is one of the most fundamentally useful apps he’s ever used. Via Android tablet or even phone, Ignition has saved our bacon more times than we care to admit, letting us log in and remote control our home and work PCs.
Forgotten files, stalled downloads, even prepping up game updates have all been taken care of while on the road thanks to this one little app. (And while we’ve mainly used the Android version, the iOS flavour has the same fantastic feature set).
LogMeIn are offering the app on both iTunes and Android Marketplace for just $15.99 (or even cheaper at the moment on Android) rather than the usual $31.99 for a “limited time only”. We recommend you get in quick.
