That was quick. Forums are already filling with more than a few disappointed comments after Logitech's cashback offer on certain items - including this $49.95 wireless keyboard and mouse combo - expired less than a day after it began.
Logitech announced this week that customers would be able to lodge a claim to get all their money back on certain items, including keyboards, mice and webcams. The promo was to run from February 1 to 28th, or when the $300,000 budget for the promotion expired.
While it's disappointing to miss out, the fact that the promotion ended so quickly opens up customers to the possibility of buying a product before realising that the promotion has ended. A Harvey Norman store we checked with said it would offer an exchange or store credit, but not a refund. At the OzBargain site some people claim to have been able to return Logitech products to other retailers for a refund without issue.
Since the promotion ended, Dick Smith has marked down the price of all the Logitech products that were eligible for the cashback offer (the Logitech Media Keyboard K200 is actually a little cheaper at $9.98, instead of the original price quoted of $29.95 quoted by Logitech). Which is good news if you're still after a bargain, though could be a little annoying if you've already put full price down elsewhere.
