With the exception of the badge on the lid, PC Club's Highlander is almost identical to both ModTech's and Targa's offerings.

It's more than likely that all three of these notebooks are from the same manufacturer and been customised by their respective distributors. The primary differences between the three are their CPUs, optical storage drives and prices. PC Club's offering may be the cheapest of the three, but it's outdone by both the others' DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drives, not to mention the fact that the ModTech has a much faster 2.4GHz P4 CPU.
To be fair, the Highlander consistently scored higher than the Targa in benchmarks, but most of the time this was only by 2-3%, which is hardly noticeable in the real world.
The Highlander is a reasonable enough notebook, but given the stiff competition offered by its clones, it's a little outclassed.
