A glance at the plain DV2150U with its optical resolution of 1,200 x 2,400dpi in no way reveals what it is capable of. It outperformed every scanner in our roundup, with consistent results across the board and superb colour accuracy.
Features-wise, it trails the HP3570C, capable of 35mm negatives. If you are fussy about performance you can not go past this scanner. At $269, it is also excellent value for money.
