Asus launch new laptop, netbook range - more Eee PC's on the way

Asus have launched their new 2009 range with a bunch of improved netbooks and laptops with better battery specs, better keyboards, touch screens and one model that disperses negative ions.

Netbook happy: Eee PC 1004DN

This 10" netbook boasts a Super-Multi optical disc drive, something you don't see too often with ultraportable's these days. The 92% keyboard is nifty for fingers with the bigger right shift key a handy addition. Bluetooth 2.1 is great for mobile portability.

  • 1.3mp webcam
  • 130GB storage
  • Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) for better battery life of 5.9 jhours

Asus N series

The N series is Asus speciality multimedia lineup. Designed for gamers, there are three new models that make up the N series.

Asus U and UX series

This should appeal to users who want a soft and elegant design, offering a decent variance between portability and performance. This series is designed to be light and stylish - and very streamlined, ala the Macbook Air.
