Photo imaging supplier Foto Risel are getting into the retail business with the launch of their first digital imaging concept store.
Unfortunately this is a Sydney-only affair - it's on next Saturday, April 4 in Sydney (9am - 5pm). If you're in the vicinity (the store's at 360-364a Kent St), reps from Hasselblad, Canon, Nikon, Manfrotto, Olympus and Sony will in store to conduct free (yes, free!) hands-on demonstrations of how to capture those perfect shots, especially useful for those looking to gain a few helpful pointers.
Foto Risel's Art on Demand printing system will also make its first store appearance. The product allows you to customise and print material from a selection of thousands of renowned artworks and artists. It's aimed at DIY decorators looking to add a bit of flair to their home interiors. Budding digital artists might also get a kick out of it.
If you're looking to brush up on your photo skills, it could be a nice way to spend a few hours in town.
