Ubuntu tries marketing slogan, fails
Hey, we like Linux, which is why we're a tad concerned by Ubuntu's efforts to come up with a hip training slogan.
It seems the Linux distro most likely to get installed by your grandmother is upping the stakes in the marketing department - into cringe territory.

Triggering some un-complimentary feedback right now is this page on the US Ubuntu Store training page (see image below).

Take a second look at the slogan. We're committed as the next guy to learning Linux, but we're not sure "Learn as if you were to live forever" is the inspiration we need.

On the other hand, full credit to the people behind Ubuntu for trying a level of hipness not seen since Microsoft hired Tom Skerritt (the M*A*S*H guy) to get all excited about Vista.
