The Symantec Norton 360 2.0 is undoubtedly a powerful package aiming at a total prtection solution (almost!) a super security suit can offer. In fact, I was lucky to make an in-depth research on it before ultimately getting one for my personal computing needs.
Most importantly I feel, it is worth making your pc/notebook compatible with the minimum requirement criteria it needs before trying/buying 360 in order to make the programs running smooth and effective. Otherwise, there is a possibility things can go cranky.
The setup requires at least a 300 MHz or higher processor, 300 MB HD, 256 MB RAM, Internet Explorer 6.0 or later and works with either Windows XP or Vista OS specifications. However, it is always better if you have an upgraded pc or a standard one concerning today's ever demanding computer applications.
The package itself is comprehensive and innovative in operation and style. Fast installation and quick downloads make things easy. What I like most is the kind of protection it offers among its competitors. As I have already said it - "Better than the Best" reflects this fact. The fast system optimization process works well for your pc. The detection rates are also quite high. The innovative SONAR (Symantec Online Network for Advance Response) behavioral website monitoring system is worth a mention. An optional add-on pack ensures that parental control and Antispam capabilities are not overlooked and so as the blocking of private data from leaking onto the Internet.
So far, the Norton 360 v 2.0 has been a pleasant experience for me and the kind of protection it offers to its users is both unique and impressive.
Ultimately, It seems apparent that it will definately benefit the common masses, home users and students but again, I think the advanced users will be a trifle annoyed by the fact that more enhanced wireless protection and online-transaction security features and applications were left out.
None the less, the Norton 360 v 2.0 provides excellent protection and performs quality results. Overall, a solid all-in-one combination suit.
