Half-Life 2: Episode 1

Monday July 17, 2006
AUD
$29.95
Price at time of review.

The first expansion to Half Life 2 doesn't provide much excitement.

For: Don’t need the original to play, graphics engine looks better than ever, classic Half-Life gameplay.

Against: Too much focus on gravity gun, very led-by-the-hand feel.

This is a game that pushes PC hardware to the limit, and puts so called ‘next-gen’ consoles to shame.
