The only projector that disappointed was the NEC VT47.While a lot of the projectors were able to attain a reasonable standard of projection, we found ourselves unfortunately marking this one down repeatedly. Some stand out faults were problems with colour bleeding and flaring in the high-contrast colour screens, plus a tiny amount of misregistration.
A complete surprise was excellent colour tracking, although considering the other problems this is a diamond in the rough.
In the real world tests this projector was better at projecting our test video and 3D footage than data. In fact, we found that the text readability and desktop were a bit too fuzzy to consider workable, but only because there are better displays available. Unfortunately this is one to pass on for the boardroom or office.
