Nokia's N97 lacks design flair, held down by unresponsive keyboard and sluggish performance

Mini review:

We didn't like the N97 when it first appeared and we still don't like it now. It isn't that it's missing any major features - on the contrary, it's packed with goodies - it's that Nokia's first touchscreen version of Symbian S60 is unintuitive, the keyboard unresponsive and performance sluggish.

The fact that the N97 Mini is the same phone, with a slicker version of the OS in a nicer, more pocketable package, counted the N97 out of the running pretty quickly.
