Like the MSI X800XT-VTD256E, Sapphire's offering represents bang on average performance. But, unlike MSI, this doesn't offer the feature set to offset the higher price -- there's a broad spread of pricing across the X800’s in this lineup, and the Sapphire sits at the more expensive end. While the bundle scores some points for Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell, this card really needs a killer feature set to bring it up to pace with the others.
Looking at performance, Half-Life 2 is the highlight of this card’s abilities, and it was bettered only by ASUS' X800 XT PE beast. It manged over 109 frames per second at 1600 x 1200 resolution, which is nothing to sneeze at.
Unfortunately, while this card will handle most games well, considering the price, it just can't beat the PowerColor X800XT.
