MSI's X800 XT finished finished up a bit over average. It's performance was relatively solid, and it held a commanding position in the synthetic benchmarks, placing third and fifth in the 3DMark tests. Real world tests dropped slightly, where it held onto fifth place in the indoor FarCry bunker tests, but dipped a further two places in the more stressful geometric Treehouse map.
When it comes to features though, this card shines. The bundle includes an S-video to RGB adaptor for HDTV connectivity; four fairly recent full version games; and a swag of other software titles like Virtual Drive and PhotoShop Album. While those with no need for the software may do better to look at one of the cheaper cards, this is still an impressive bundle which, combined with the slick 3-year warranty, helps this get past the relatively high price tag.
