NVIDIA has been criticised for its oversized graphics cards, but the shoe is on the other foot this time with HIS putting a truly massive cooler on its X800 XT card. Unless you plan on overclocking your card, this type of cooler is arguably excessive, but it can only help to keep your card a little cooler than a stock standard fan on hot days.
In terms of results, it hovered around the middle of the pack and only really impressed in Half-Life 2, where it was only narrowly pipped for first place after putting on a real show. The package contents resemble ABIT's with a DVI to D-Sub plug adaptor for dual displays, and both S-video to composite and an S-video to component cable for connecting a high definition source. Overall, this is an average performer across the board, but it's feature set and good price lift this above the pack. Definitely worth checking out, provided you don't mind sacrificing some internal real estate to accommodate its cooler.
