The new Sony Ericsson P910i is the only true phone/PDA hybrid on review in this roundup so aesthetically it marries some of the largeness of a PDA with the slimness of a phone to end up with a unit that's just right: it's not too big and not too small.
The front of the unit has a fold-down flap that has a T9 phone pad on one side and a very mini QWERTY keyboard on the other. Flipping it down turns the P910i from phone mode into PDA mode, and reveals the bottom half of the 208 x 320 colour display.
This touchscreen display has a scratch-resistant coating that's also good in the sunlight, and looks fantastic with 262,000 colours. MP3 and video playback is good if you like your multimedia mobile. The screen also allows for generous display of MMS and emails, calendar and other PDA functions.
The P910i excels as both a phone and a PDA. It's also just small enough to fit in a pocket plus has a large enough screen to function as a mobile office.
