The most expensive DVD burner we received, it makes sense it would also be the best featured. This is the case, with it able to burn not only the usual swag of DVD+/-RW but also DVD-RAM and the new dual layer 8.5GB discs. If you were after a drive to hedge your bets against the entire DVD format gamut, this is certainly the drive for you. Granted it’s not cheap and is essentially an OEM drive, but what it lacks in price it more than makes up for in flexibility.
