Built around the same notebook housing as the Emagen Zephyra XT, this attractive high shine lid is one of the better looking notebook covers we've seen, making this product appear out of its price range. Finishing absolutely plum in the middle of the pack overall, it was narrowly pipped by the Astone and Twinhead 12.1in model. It did manage to hold its own in 3D testing, putting others to shame, finishing in second place, although its low 141 minute MobileMark02 score put it back in the leagues of the IBM desknote. The high-speed 1.6GHz Pentium M was helped along by the RADEON 9700 graphics, although the system was slightly let down by featuring only 256MB of RAM and no integrated wireless module. At the reasonable weight of 2.8kg, this is hardly the heaviest unit in our roundup, but isn't the lightest either, the battery score only reaffirming this unit's dominance on the desktop rather than as a mobile.
