The Compucon T750S took the trophy for the monitor with the biggest stand, but aside from that it’s quite an unassuming display.
The T750S excelled with a perfect rating for its colour tracking but scored only marginally better than the CMV CT-723A with the rest of the colour and greyscale tests. This is not too bad, as the CMV was quite a capable monitor in its own right.
Overall the display was a bit too bright though, something really noticeable with the dark black level test, which should display a solid black on the screen, and with the colour scales where they tended to blur out at the darker end.
In the real-world suite of tests the monitor ranked equally with the CMV display, which meant that all its adeptness with colour didn’t really translate too well under day-to-day conditions.
The T750S was saved by a very low price and generous faulty pixel policy which made the monitor quite good value for money.
So, even if it did have a couple of faults, for the most part the T750S is competent, affordable, and covered with a good three-year on-site warranty and policy.
