Finishing just below average overall, this unit scored highly in the performance department care of its high max resolution printing and it had the lowest spool times for both single and 10 page spooling tests and fast scan timed runs.
The top loading, easy to use CX3100 was let down slightly in the features department with low resolution copying and absence of any type of removable media support. For the cost, it does offer plenty, and would make a great MFD for anyone on a budget, although we think there's better value in the Labs Recommended and Winning Lexmark and Dell models.
