When you group a bunch of products together and sort them out with scores, something, somehow, always ends up the average.
In the case of the vp6110 this means average across the board. While it was amazingly sharp and crisp, the vp6110 failed to excite in any of our testing, and although its real world scores for the most part were above average, its individual colour and greyscale scores were below, which evened things out.
While this may seem quite detrimental, it’s not. There were at least six other projectors that fared much, much worse in every test. If you are thinking of buying a vp6110, we found it’s much better suited to the home environment than the office.
