The most expensive camera in this Labs by $100, it outshone the competition in almost all aspects. A real case of getting what you pay for.
Combining ease of use with quality features it includes a crisp 16x optical zoom; excellent SuperNight mode; a range of digital effects and a more than passable 1.33 megapixel still photo facility.
It was the only camera that genuinely offered quality 6 x 4 printable images with a direct print capability.
While quite bulky, it's well laid out and easy to use straight out of the box.
Its electronic image stabiliser was the best of all of the cameras, even in artificial lighting. The built-in microphone has good pick-up and is not badly affected by average wind conditions and the 3.5-inch LCD colour screen was by far the best.
The one area that it falls down in is its PC connectivity. You can transfer still images via USB but you'll need a FireWire port to move your video over. Apart from that the MV150i is certainly recommended for anyone who can stretch their budget far enough.
